Age Limit NLC Recruitment 2025:

Maximum Age Limit UR/EWS : 30 Years
Maximum Age Limit OBC : 33 Years

Scale of Pay :

Junior Overman (Trainee ) : 31000 – 100000 S1 Grade
Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) : 26000 – 3% – 110000 SG1 Grade

Educational Qualification NLC Recruitment 2025:

Junior Overman (Trainee ) :

Diploma NLC Recruitment 2025: in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent qualification approved in that behalf by the Central Government
Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any certificate in Mining which entitles to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017
Valid First Aid Certificate.

Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) :

Diploma or Degree NLC Recruitment 2025: in any subject other than Mining Engineering
Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS
Valid First Aid Certificate OR
Diploma in Mining with Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS
Valid First Aid Certificate

Selection Process :

Selection NLC Recruitment 2025: will be based on Written Test for 100 marks.
The Question Paper will consist of two parts : Part-I with 30 questions of General Aptitude comprising of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness (at Diploma level) and Part-II with 70 Questions on subject knowledge totally 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers
Question Paper for Written Test NLC Recruitment 2025: will have Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions carrying equal mark each, with no negative marks for wrong answer
Duration of Written Test will be 120 minutes.
The Question Paper will be in English Language only.
Minimum qualifying marks in Written Test will be 50% in respect of UR & EWS candidates and 40% in respect SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates, against the reserved vacancies. For PAP candidates eligible for bonus 20 marks, minimum qualifying marks of 50% or 40% as the case may be, will be arrived after adding bonus marks
Project Affected Persons (PAPs of NLCIL Neyveli Projects) will be allowed 20 bonus marks (limited to one beneficiary per award) in the overall marking system.
Final selection NLC Recruitment 2025: will be in the order of merit based on the overall total score of marks obtained in written test by the candidates (plus Bonus marks awarded in case of PAP candidates), ensuring due reservation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS categories
In case of tie at cut-off level, (i.e.) more than one candidate scoring same marks (out of 100) at cut-off level, such cases will be resolved by applying the following criteria, one after another, till the tie is resolved:
Date of Birth of the candidates, senior most candidate(s) by age will be placed higher;
Alphabetical order of first name of the candidates.

How to Apply :

Candidates NLC Recruitment 2025: should apply only through online mode in NLC India Limited website www.nlcindia.in.
Before registering / applying online, the candidates should ensure that they have mobile number and valid & active personal email ID and keep them active for the entire duration of selection as NLCIL will send all selection related communications only through SMS / email till the selection process is completed.
Candidates have to upload required scanned copies of documents / certificates in prescribed format to establish their eligibility, failing which the application is liable for rejection.
Candidates applying for more than one post should apply and submit separate Registration-cum-Application Form & receipt for fee along with the requisite enclosures for each post(s).
Candidates should submit single application only for any post. In case of multiple applications / registrations for any post, the last registered application shall only be considered.
Candidates should ensure that they have uploaded the required documents before submitting applications, for their benefit, after uploading a document, “View Document” option will be provided in the on-line portal to check
After payment of NLC Recruitment 2025: required application Fee & uploading required documents / certificates candidates should submit their application through ONLINE, candidates should take a print out of registration cum application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates / documents, at the time of Document / Certificate verification.
Scrutiny of applications for short listing of candidates for Selection will be solely based on documents / certificates uploaded by the candidates at the time of registration / submission of application through ONLINE.
No manual / paper applications will be entertained and candidates are advised not to send any hard copy to this office.
