Age Limit :

The apprentice should not be less than 18 years of age the maximum age shall not be more than 30 years.
The relaxations to the reserved category shall be given as per the Govt. guidelines

Monthly Stipend NHPC Apprentices Recruitment 2025:

Graduate Apprentices : 15000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
Diploma Apprentices : 13500/- ( Thirteen thousand only)
ITI trades Apprentices : 12000/- ( Twelve thousand only)

Educational Qualification :

Candidates Should Posses B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech/B>E. LLB. Diploma, ITI, BSW, BPT, M.A, MBA/PGDM, PG Diploma in relevant discipline

Selection Process :

There will be no interview. The eligible candidates will be selected per merit drawn based on following criteria

Apprentices	Weightage	Total
Graduate Apprentices	20% to 10th Class 20% to 12th/Diploma ( whichever is higher, in case of both ) 60% to aggregate in Engineering/ Graduation/ PG ( whichever is applicable) in relevant subject	100
Diploma Apprentices	30% to 10th Class 70% to Diploma in engineering	100
ITI trades Apprentices	30% to 10th Class 70% to ITI in concerned Trade	100

Preference in Selection :

Based on merit criteria outlined in the advertisement, preference for selection of Apprentice will be given as under
- First preference will be given to candidates belonging to Project Affected Families of respective Project/Power Station/Unit
- If sufficient or no candidates from Project Affected Families are available, then preference will be extended to candidates belonging to concerned district(s) of the State(s)/UTs where the Project/Power Station/Unit is located
- Should the vacancies persist, then preference will be given to candidates belonging to the State(s)/UTs where the Project/Power Station/Unit is located
- Should the vacancies still persist, then selection for remaining positions will be based on merit criteria specified in the advertisement for candidates belonging to other State(s)/UTs.
